Hello: Quite by chance we came across your wonderfully stylish, eclectic blog through a comment which you had left, in French we note as opposed to our mundane English, on the recent post of Jérome at Maison de lin.
On a previous post you write of Colefax and Fowler, known to us so well, and very generously comment on the English style of interior decoration. We have very recently purchased a copy of 'The Great Lady Decorators' by Adam Lewis which details the work of many of the 'great' American women designers from 1870 - 1950. Included, of course, are those we like to cherish as British [Nancy Lancaster, Syrie Maugham] although your claim must be the greater!
thanks for stopping by bovagoods and leaving a comment! i think the bouquet is a brilliant idea! i'm going to have to try that for my daughters' recitals as well. thanks and happy mother's day!
My husband (and design partner)and myself are the third generation of the family to operate our store. We have been graciously invited into your homes to provide window coverings since 1935. And don't let the name mislead you....we have so much more than just shades. We have window treatments of every design, from fabric to shutters, from motorized to manual! We are a Gallery Showroom for Hunter Douglas Window Fashions displaying their exquisite and innovative product line. Let us share our knowledge with you and invite you to e-mail me questions on problem windows you would like suggestions for or leave a comment on a post! We would love to hear from you!

I found this excellent disclaimer on a fellow blogger's site which I find appropriate to include here as well.
The photos I use on my blog are NOT my own unless otherwise stated. I find a lot of the photos for my posts on Pinterest and various tumblr sites that I cite at the bottom of my post. IF YOU ARE the owner of any of these photos and I have not correctly cited you, I apologize. Original owners are not always attached to a photo that has literally been "TUMBLED" in time through tumblr. Just KINDLY leave me a message and I will either remove the photo or correctly give credit. Thank you!
